The Chicken Door?

The Chicken Door started because our hound mix, Opal, had an amazing nose, abundant curiosity, and was always hungry! I was making her favorite dehydrated chicken treats and went to the room where they were dehydrating, opened the door, and she was RIGHT THERE! She knew there was chicken behind that door, and every time we opened that door she came along, searching for chicken. So The Chicken Door was born. While little Opal is no longer with us, her legacy lives on in The Chicken Door. You help us honor her memory with every purchase. Thank you.

NEW!! We now have bandanas available! Our bandanas are extra comfortable for your pups, with a curved neckline that helps it drape nicely without bunching up too much. All our bandanas are double-sided and reversible, with a nice top-stitched finish touch.

This is the treat that started it all. We named this crunchy delight after our beloved little hound, Opal. It was her nose, curiosity, and love of food that led us to The Chicken Door. Opal’s legacy lives on and we want to share her favorite things with your beloved dogs!
